Agape

Agape represents the reality that life always presents us with a choice. Storms exist on both sides—there is fear, hardship, and uncertainty no matter which road we take. The difference is not the storm, but who we choose to trust through it.

On one side, the mountains, light, and blooming magnolia symbolize choosing to walk with God. Though trials remain, His grace sustains us, producing perseverance, hope, and growth. On the other side, the storm continues and a rooted tree stands without leaves, representing a life that is still held together by God’s grace but lacking the growth that comes from fully trusting Him.

This piece is titled Agape, the Greek word for God’s unconditional love. No matter which path we find ourselves on, God’s love remains constant. His grace is sufficient, and He never leaves us.
